Our Instructors

Master Rob Kloss started training in Tang Soo Do karate in April of 1984 and became a full-time professional in 1990. He was the senior master at Hockessin's Korean Martial Arts Institute for 25 years until taking over as owner on July 1st 2016. He was recently recognized by a coalition of senior martial artists from several different disciplines that presented him with an 8th degree Black Belt for his years of work in the field.

Master George Maybroda is known for telling his students, "Your life is an Occasion!!! Rise to it!!!" He started his Martial Arts training at the age of 12 and has dedicated his life to being the best possible Martial Artist, Fighter and Teacher. He has achieved many successes including 4th Master Tang Soo Do, 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae kwon Do and Hapkido, Blue Belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and currently trains and competes in traditional Thai boxing and Muay Thai.

Jackalynn Brannan is the Owner of Evolution Krav Maga and Head Instructor at Cornerstone Martial Arts. She holds a Krav Maga Black Belt, is a Fit to Fight Certified Instructor, and is a Kickboxing Amateur Fighter and 2018 WKA Champion. She also holds certifications in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and has university medical center experience.

Chad Everett is a Krav Maga Instructor holding a Krav Maga Blue Belt and EKM Certified Coach certification. He also holds a Vai Capoeira Yellow/Green Belt and has degrees from Temple University Tyler School of Art and Architecture and Maryland Art Institute College of Art.

James Walsh is a Krav Maga Instructor with a Krav Maga Blue Belt and EKM Certified Coach certification. He holds multiple martial arts certifications including Kempo Karate Black Belt, Tang Su Do Green Belt, Aki-Jitsu Black Belt, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt. He also has varsity high school wrestling experience and is an NRA Range Safety Officer.

Grace Diehl is a Krav Maga Coach with a Krav Maga Green Belt and EKM Certified Coach certification. She holds a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt, is a Muay Thai Apprentice L2, Certified Yoga Instructor, and Personal Trainer. She is currently pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy at Delaware Technical Community College.

Robert Holt is a dedicated martial artist with over two decades of experience in the craft. His journey commenced as a young child at the esteemed Korean Martial Arts Institute. He earned a 3rd degree black belt in both WTSDA and Hap-ki-do, led a championship creativity team, and discovered his passion for teaching. After obtaining both his bachelor's and master's degrees, Robert now serves as the Dean of Students at Newark High School. In fall 2019, he joined Cornerstone Martial Arts and earned his 4th-degree master belt.
